COMPTON p(inxit=gemalt) MOTIV : Großer Teich (Riesengebirge) - zum gleichen Preis in gleicher Größe ebenso gerahmt sind vorhanden noch die Motive : 1) Hochmoor mit Schneekoppe 2) Kammweg mit Schneekoppe 3) Am kleinen Teich (auch mit Schneekoppe). ( 1907 wurde erstmals eine Serie seiner Arbeiten im Münchner Kunstverein ausgestellt (vom Karwendel und Gardasee, Kaisergebirge, ?Geisterschmiede bei Kufstein? u.v.a.). Weitere Ausstellungen folgten, unter anderem in der Royal Academy in London, in Bradford und Berlin. In der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus hatte er sich in das System integriert. Er war von 1937 bis 1944 auf allen Großen Deutschen Kunstausstellung in München mit insgesamt 19 Bildern vertreten, von denen u.a. Hitler drei und die Naziführer Heinrich Himmler , Hermann Esser und Hermann Schmitz je eines erwarben.).
