The magazine contains numerous Jugendstill borders framing either a title, a text, or a photograph. In addition, it is lavishly illustrated with 83 in-text and full-page b/w and duo-tone photographic reproductions showing some of the best examples of decorative arts of the period in the field of graphic art, furniture, metalwork, silver, textiles, lighting, and glasswork. Includes a double-page hors-text depicting a triptych of the Mannheim gymnasium stained glass. Minor age-toning to wrappers. Corners of front cover slightly chipped. Text in German. Zunächst widmete er sich der Landschaftsmalerei, arbeitete aber später hauptsächlich als Designer und Grafiker. Er schuf Titel und Ornamente für die Zeitschriften Pan und Jugend sowie das Signet des S.
