Für das Konzept einer kritisch-reflektierenden Mediendidaktik werden folgende Thesen abgeleitet: Erstens versprechen insbesondere Konzepte des Blended Learning eine effektive Nutzung elektronischer Medien im Rahmen eines weiten Ansatzes zu Multiple Literacies und lernerorientierter pädagogischer und didaktischer Konzepte. Zweitens ist der kritisch-reflektierende Umgang mit Medien eine entscheidende Kompetenz mündiger Bürger und Bürgerinnen. Sie findet einen wichtigen Niederschlag im Konzept der Critical Literacy.
