Jacopo Robusti, known as Tintoretto (29 April 1519 - 31 May 1594) was an Italian painter, one of the greatest exponents of the Venetian school and probably the last great painter of the Italian Renaissance . The nickname Tintoretto derived from the father's profession; dyer of fabrics. For his phenomenal energy in painting he was nicknamed 'Furious', and his dramatic use of perspective and light means he is considered by many to be a precursor to Baroque art. In a cloth binding. Externally, very smart with just minor shelfwear and a mark to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some minor spotting to the first and last few pages. Dal dipinto del 1576 di Tintoretto, conservato a Palazzo Ducale a Venezia, bella incisione nello stesso verso del dipinto, Carracci rende l'attimo drammatico così come lo concepiva Tintoretto, in calce l'iscrizione. Impressione molto bella ma con margini rifilati alla battuta. Buono stato di conservazione. Formato: 200x255mm.

No legatura. Condition: Ottimo. Ex Tabula Venetiis in Sacello Eclesiae S. Mariae Salutis, 1772. Incisione in rame all'acquaforte, b/n, cm 31,5 x 36,5 (alla lastra) 34,7 x 40,3 (il foglio), in lastra sulla sn. " Jac. Tintoretto pinxit" e sulla ds. "Joh. Volpato Sculp. Romae 1772", numero della pagina in alto a ds., carta vergata con filigrana al verso. A Cana di Galilea avvennero le nozze. Lì era Gesù con Maria sua madre, e quando il vino finì, Gesù ordinò che le giare fossero riempite d'acqua, che poi si trasformò in vino. Esemplare ben impresso, in margini e in eccellente stato di conservazione.

Condition: buono. Bulino. In primo piano le tre Grazie che si tengono per mano, dietro Mercurio con l'elmo alato e il caduceo. L'incisione riproduce un dipinto realizzato da Tintoretto per l'atrio quadrato del Palazzo Ducale di Venezia. In calce l'iscrizione. Esemplare rifilato al margine, buono stato di conservazione. Formato: 190x255mm.

Condition: ottimo. Bulino. La dea in piedi poggia la mano destra sulla spalla dell'Abbondanza mentre con la sinistra è nell'atto di allontanare Marte in armi. L'immagine allegorica sottintende la preservazione della pace e dell'abbondanza di Venezia dalla guerra. L'incisione riproduce un dipinto realizzato da Tintoretto per l'atrio quadrato del Palazzo Ducale di Venezia. In calce l'iscrizione. Ottima prova molto ben impressa. Formato: 191x250mm.

Condition: ottima. Bella incisione in rame all'acquaforte firmata in lastra, che riproduce un dipinto eseguito dal Tintoretto e aiuti per la Sala del Maggior Consiglio del Palazzo Ducale di Venezia. Rispetto alla tela, di formato quadrato, la stampa ha uno sviluppo longitudinale ed alcune differenze soprattutto nella struttura architettonica. Esemplare in perfetto stato di conservazione, con ampio margine. Formato: 365x510mm.
