This reprint of "The Second Edition, Corrected" was edited by Phillip Dwyer (1822-1905), an Anglican pri…est who wrote respectable histories of County Clare. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition Thus. A scarce title. Red cloth binding with titling in gilt on the spine and front cover. The front cover sports a gilt illustration in gilt of the battleground. Clean text; 255 pages; patterned endpapers. Index and corrigenda. There are illustrations, including Derry as it was in 1689, the author George Walker, and personalitues of the siege. There is a fold-out illustration of the fighting. Inscription [1936] on the verso of the FFEP. The spine has faded but the titling remains legible; a few spots to the front cover. A solid copy. First Thus. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
